Application Guidelines for Key Laboratory Open Subjects

The laboratory implements the operation mechanism of ‘openness, mobility, association and competition’, creates favourable conditions for scientific research, strengthens scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges with domestic universities and research institutes, creates an incentive mechanism for cooperation, and strengthens original basic and applied research. The Laboratory's open projects are open to relevant universities and research institutes in and outside the province, and fund basic research projects related to the Laboratory's research direction. Researchers will apply for funding according to the project guidelines, use the equipment conditions of the laboratory or the experimental conditions of their institutions to conduct research, and share the research results. The main research directions of Weihai Key Laboratory of Fluorine and Silicon New Materials are as follows

Weihai Key Laboratory of Fluorine and Silicon New Materials to increase the opening of experimental facilities and conditions, all for the sake of user needs, make full use of the existing experimental conditions and testing methods, to provide advanced technology, reliable data, for all types of innovation system construction service network, and gradually form a shared, open service pattern of science and technology, the main instruments and equipment of the laboratory is now on display as follows:

Introduction to Weihai Key Laboratory of Fluorine and Silicon New Materials

In October 2017, Weihai Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology issued the document WeiKeGeZi [2017] No.32 - ‘Notice on Issuing the Establishment Plan of Weihai Municipal Key Laboratory in 2017’, which specifies Weihai Xinyuan Chemical Co. Ltd. as the supporting unit to establish ‘Weihai Key Laboratory of Fluorine and Silicon New Materials’. The key laboratory of new fluorosilicon materials has a total building area of 5905m2, including R&D laboratory area of 1905m2 and pilot plant of 4000m2, and the research direction mainly includes: high temperature and oil resistant fluorosilicon compounding rubber and application; research on the key technology of high and low temperature resistant silicone rubber; research on the key technology of fluorosilicon rubber capped with functional groups; and research on the key technology of fluorosilicon rubber capped with functional groups.
