Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Public Participation Statement before Approval Publicity
NEW ERA CHEMICAL SHANDONG Co., Ltd. was formerly Weihai Xinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. refining and chemical integration of new environmental materials pilot project with a total investment of 5 million yuan, the construction site is located in the Huanjui District, Weihai City, Yangting Town, Industrial New Area, No. 985 Fenghuangshan Road, within the existing plant workshops, without new floor space and building area. The project construction content is mainly for the R & D and pilot testing of formaldehyde-free waterborne adhesives, including solid formaldehyde-free waterborne adhesives and liquid formaldehyde-free waterborne adhesives, the relevant supporting facilities, warehouses and utility projects are based on the existing projects in the plant. The project has a labour force of 9 people, adopting a three-shift working system, with each shift working for 8 hours, 200 days per year, and intermittent work.
At present, the compilation of the environmental impact report is completed, and according to the ‘Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment’ and other regulations, the environmental impact assessment report and public participation statement will be made public before submitting for approval.
