The company has established close industry university research cooperation relationships with multiple research institutions, forming a technical team led by well-known domestic experts and professors, supported by experienced young and middle-aged technical backbones. It relies on high-quality research platforms such as the company's academician pilot base, postdoctoral research station, Shandong Enterprise Technology Center, Shandong Fluorosilicone New Material Engineering Technology Research Center, and Shandong Engineering Research Center for Special Synthetic Fluorosilicone Rubber Materials. In terms of hardware, it is equipped with over 15000 square meters of R&D and pilot experimental bases, as well as more than 600 sets of advanced experimental and testing equipment, fully supporting the development of synthetic new technologies, and has advanced scientific research strength in the fields of fine chemicals and polymer material synthesis in China.
Academician Pilot Base
In order to promote the incubation and transformation of green, healthy and high-performance polymer materials developed by academician yang wantai of beijing university of chemical technology, and to give full play to the advantages of New Era Chemical (Shandong) co., ltd. in chemical process and control, chemical production management, and chemical equipment supporting capabilities, the company established an academician pilot test base in March 2021 in cooperation with beijing university of chemical technology, striving to promote the transformation of various experimental pilot test technologies of academician team into pilot test and industrialization.
Based on the significant innovative research achievements of academician Yang Wantai's team in the research fields of molecular design and preparation, surface/interface modification and functionalization of polymer materials, this pilot test base takes the preparation process of aldehyde-free environmental protection water-based adhesive, plasticizer-free polyvinyl chloride and other materials and the research and development of supporting key equipment as the main direction, and builds an integrated innovation platform of production-learning-research-application, to develop new technologies for the preparation of olefin-based polymer materials based on independent intellectual property rights, to solve the key technical bottlenecks in the synthesis and engineering process of new polymer materials, and to provide technical support for solving major needs in the fields of energy, environment and materials. Relying on the academician pilot base, the company successfully put into production a 10,000-ton aldehyde-free environmentally friendly water-based adhesive production line in November 2023, realizing the perfect closed loop of the base cooperation mode. In the future, the company will take this as the basis, continue to uphold the transformation mode of scientific and technological achievements with enterprises as the main body and academician team as the source, and strive to build the academician pilot base into a high-end pilot test and industrialization innovation cooperation platform in the field of green and healthy polymer materials, and constantly incubate more and better scientific research achievements!
Postdoctoral research station
In order to better leverage the role of technological innovation in the company's development, the company was approved to establish a postdoctoral research workstation in October 2015, dedicated to promoting the research and application of advanced chemical equipment and high-performance fluorosilicon materials. The company has successfully attracted and cultivated a group of high-level scientific research talents through the construction of postdoctoral research workstations. As of December 2025, the workstation has successfully recruited 6 postdoctoral talents to enter the station, of which 4 have successfully left, injecting new impetus into the company's technological innovation and industrial upgrading. The research results of postdoctoral researchers' projects not only improve relevant theories, but also provide strong technical support for the design and development of advanced chemical equipment such as the company's Venturi injector, as well as the upgrading of high-performance fluorosilicone rubber products. In the future, the company will continue to increase investment in postdoctoral research workstations and continuously promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the company and industry!
Enterprise R & D Center
Since its establishment, the company has always adhered to innovative development, relying on in-depth insights into the development trends of the fluorosilicon industry and extensive market research. It has established a long-term research and development plan with high-end organic fluorides, fluorosilicon new materials, and special organic silicon materials as the research and development focus. It has set up a research and development center, equipped with over 15000 square meters of research and development and pilot testing bases, as well as more than 600 sets of advanced experimental and testing equipment to support technology development, small-scale testing, and pilot testing. At the same time, the R&D center has established industry university research cooperation relationships with research institutions such as the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shandong University, forming a technical team with experts and professors as the core and middle-aged and young technical backbones (more than 35% of whom hold intermediate or senior professional titles) as the support.
With outstanding research and development capabilities, the R&D center has successfully undertaken 4 provincial-level or above R&D projects, completed more than 10 industry university research cooperation projects, filled some technical gaps, and participated in the formulation of 7 group standards and more than 10 enterprise standards. It has been approved as the "Shandong Enterprise Technology Center", "Shandong Fluorosilicon New Material Engineering Technology Research Center", "Shandong Engineering Research Center for Special Synthetic Fluorosilicone Rubber Materials", and "Shandong Province" One Enterprise, One Technology "R&D Center", providing strong technical support for the development of the company and the industry.
In the future, the R&D center will focus on the direction of green, healthy, and high-end new materials, achieving key technological breakthroughs in high-end fluorine-containing fine chemicals, pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediates, green and healthy new materials, and other fields. It will build itself into a comprehensive innovation platform that integrates technology research and development, achievement transformation, industry incubation, and talent cultivation.
